Welcome to GMR
Polytechnic (GMRP)! GMRP is a part of GMRIT which was established by GMR
Varalakshmi Foundation, the Corporate Social Responsibility arm of GMR Group
(http://gmrgroup.in). This program is conducted during the 2nd shift hours.
GMRP offers high quality technical education to aspiring diploma engineers from
the rural background. With a vision to develop skilled manpower required for
the present industry, GMR Polytechnic was initiated and it offers diploma
courses at GMRIT during 2nd shift hours, supporting the AICTE's concept of
effective utilization of resources.
Located in Rajam, Srikakulam district of Andhra Pradesh, institution provides
its learning community state-of-the-art facilities, infrastructure and a
competent faculty. The Institute encourages collaborative learning between
industry and academia as a means of reinforcing its curriculum with practical
and real world experiences. It is this emphasis on a well-rounded education
that makes institution a preferred polytechnic in the state of Andhra Pradesh.
